Mike Kropf is an award-winning photojournalist at the Richmond Times-Dispatch in Richmond, Virginia. His freelance clients include The Associated Press, Getty Images, multiple Division I universities, and a number of local media outlets.

Previously the Staff Photographer at The Daily Progress and the University Photographer at Longwood University, he has covered sports at every level from high school to March Madness, Nascar and the NFL.

Ryan M. Kelly is a freelance photographer based in Richmond, Virginia specializing in news and sports. He won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize in Breaking News Photography for his work at The Daily Progress in Charlottesville, Virginia. Freelance clients include Getty Images, Agence France-Presse, Associated Press, Reuters, and The Washington Post. Kelly has covered Virginia Cavaliers athletics for more than a decade.

Shaban Athuman

Shaban is a photojournalist at VPM News in Richmond, Virginia. For over a decade, Shaban has been working to improve his story-telling skills. He previously worked for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, where he was named the state’s best newspaper photographer for two years in a row. Prior to that, he worked at the Dallas Morning News. In the years since picking up a camera, he has covered sports on every level, from a charity basketball game to the NBA.
